The problem, honestly

When a nurse decides to go abroad, she is on her own, against a system built to take advantage of that decision.

Between the day a nurse chooses to leave and the day she starts a shift overseas, there can be ten to fifty middlemen in the chain: sub-agents, language schools, document handlers, embassy runners, employer brokers. Each takes a cut. Each hands off the file. No one is accountable for the outcome.

Documented cases of visa fraud, contract switching, salary skimming and outright abandonment aren't rare edge cases. They are the working conditions of an unregulated market.
